Champagne Goin' To Town,
a.k.a. Boozer,was purchased to bring spots, champagne
color and old time bloodlines to the breeding program at
Lumbertown Farm He is a grandson of both Go Boy's Gold
Insignia and Sun's Remembrance, a direct son of Midnight
Sun. His pedigree includes wonderful names that most
Walking Horse enthusiasts will readily recognize and his
future foals will still have Midnight Sun showing on their
papers. Boozer has an exceptionally nice disposition,
conformation and gaiting ability.
Boozer went to the trainer this summer and is now
greenbroke. The trainer did not want to send him home but
we chose to only put some basic riding education on him at
this point. He would make an wonderful mount for trail or
showring and certainly has what it takes to be a wonderful
herd sire to any serious TWH breeder. |

Chester has a fabulous disposition and temperament. My
wife has clocked him in gait at over 20 mph.
His childhood, from what I have learned was quite rough
and his size was affected due to poor nutrition during his
first couple of years. I am told by experts that a horse
stunted in this way will attain about 90% of the size it
should have been genetically... the math shows him right
in there with his father between 15.2 and 16 hands. He is
very healthy now and genetically sound. |
