About CHBOA

The Champagne Horse Breeders' and Owners' Association was founded in 2005. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to documenting and registering equine carrying the champagne gene, expanding public knowledge of the gene, and creating a co-operative of champagne breeders and enthusiasts who work together to promote the champagne horse.

Our Association was founded by breeders, owners, and enthusiasts who share a common love of champagne horses, a willingness to keep an open mind and learn continually, and a desire to share what they learn with others.

It is our desire to provide a supportive environment for our members to share their knowledge, find answers to questions, meet others with similar interests, and promote their champagne horses. Our members are encouraged to use the CHBOA as a networking tool to promote their farms and horses, as well as the champagne gene.
